I am Artist HariSadhan Dey working as a freelance artist in kolkata . I have participated in several exhibition in India and abroad and my works are kepts as a collection by several connoisseurs of art. I am basically a figurative artist and like to draw the spiritual theme.
I paint purely from instinct and feeling. Most of my creations are restricted to single figure and female face that occupies the central stage and create an area of mystery as well as visual harmony. The characters are all women each with their secret passion seeking fulfillment or inner void of unfulfilled desire. These works have a pervasive atmosphere of melancholy, mysticism and nostalgia which permeated with unique sensitivity and inner vision that portray a deep inner psyche of the female-their joys, traumas, sensuality and innocence.
